Each presenter will have 20 minutes in the program to present their work AND answer questions from the audience. Fifteen-minute presentations should be ideal and leave time for interactions. Moderators will ensure that time is respected.
At the end of each day, we will have 10 minutes for general discussion about presentations given during the session of day, which will give us a chance to continue or expand on discussions initiated at the end of the talks.
No particular guideline on the presentation format is given, however it is advised to stick to formats that transfer well from one computer to another such as PDF. The conference room computer will be a Windows PC.
The size of the panels on which posters will be hung is 4x4 ft (122x122 cm). We recommend printing posters no bigger than 3x4 ft (91x122 cm). Format A0 (2.8x3.9 ft - 84x119 cm) are appropriate too.
Poster presenters will be able to hang their poster as soon as Wednesday 14th in the morning (8 am). The poster session is schedule for Wednesday at 4 pm (time slot to be confirmed, please check the final program when available).
Poster printing
Printing your poster at the LSU library is possible, but this requires a few steps:
You will need to purchase a temporary Tiger Card for $1.00 from the Tiger Card Kiosk in the Current Periodicals/News Paper Room 126, then deposit money onto your Tiger Card by either visiting the Tiger Card Office (in the Student Union building) or a Tiger Card Kiosk.
